All the updates and redesign has now been completed for Hearts & Crosses, and the site is live again.

Russell Houghton did the photography, and the images look great. Julie Welburn herself did all the updates and uploaded all the new products using our EZcart software. A great effort Julie, well done ( and you got in all done in a couple of days! ).

I redid the style sheet, added a new flash image cycler on the home page and added the Lightbox script for the product images.

A nice script that is very now and would definitely come under the Web 2.0 banner! Check out the link below for a demo:

Well, I guess that finally I've managed to decide upon what blog software to use and here we are!

I've been playing with Bblog, Wordpress, Movable Type and Typepad just to mention a few!!

However, being a lover of free/open source software, I have ended up with this cheeky little blogging software, as it has no database and is text file powered. It's very simple to install and setup, however the customization requires a little more effort.

I do like it for it's simplicity ( although it can be a little slow at generating the pages ) and have picked Simple PHP Blog as my choice of blog software.

I will do my best to keep writing articles and my personal ramblings about all things web/IT and non-web/IT, in an effort to amuse and educate ( where possible! ).
